Biography

Christopher Scott is an audio engineer and producer located out of Denver, Colorado. As a lifelong musician and a former DJ, Chris has been creating, performing, and recording music for over 15 years. From this background, Chris made his way into the studio to help other artist’s sonically create the sound that they strive for in their studio records.

To pursue a career as a recording engineer and a producer, Chris Scott attended the University of Colorado, Denver and received a bachelors in their Audio Production program. This education helped build upon the technique, and got Chris acquainted with large format studios and modern recording techniques.

During school, Chris interned at Side 3 Studios in the heart of Denver where he learned from professional engineers and got the opportunity to work with very talented musicians and artist including Justin Bieber, WALE, and Mimosa. He later was hired as an engineer at Side 3, and has found a home in the studio.

The journey of learning has never ended. In the summer of 2014, Chris attended a Mix with the Master’s seminar at the famous Studio La Fabrique in the south of France. There, he worked along side world renown and Grammy winning producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Sugar Ray, Lana Del Rey, Regina Spector), and mixer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Ben Folds, John Mayer).

Chris Scott has currently been working as a freelance engineer in the Colorado area and has built relationships with many different studios. He has worked with hundreds of artists, mixed and produced many different albums and singles, and enjoys helping artists with the technical side of things. He continues to develop his craft and work with everyone serious about creating great music.
